1. About this service
Postcard.is ("we", "us", "our") is a service that allows you to order a real, physical postcard to be printed and sent from Iceland to an address of your choice, anywhere in the world. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. The service
When you place an order, you select a postcard design, provide a personal message (up to 300 characters), and provide a recipient name and postal address. We then print the postcard and post it from Iceland using the Icelandic postal service.
We are responsible for printing the postcard and posting it correctly. Delivery is then handled by Iceland Post and the destination country's postal service. We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
3. Pricing and payment
The price per postcard is $17.90 USD, which includes worldwide postage. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. All prices are in US dollars.
By placing an order you agree to pay the stated price. Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
4. Order processing
We aim to post all orders within 1–2 business days of payment being received. Orders are not processed on Icelandic public holidays.
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed. It is your responsibility to ensure the recipient's postal address is accurate. We cannot be held responsible for non-delivery due to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
5. Content policy
The personal message you include on the postcard must not contain:
- Illegal content of any kind
- Threatening, abusive, or harassing language
- Content that violates the privacy or rights of others
- Spam or commercial solicitations
We reserve the right to cancel orders that contain content that violates this policy, with a full refund.
6. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the price paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to delayed or lost mail.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Icelandic courts.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
