About this postcard
Iceland's coastline stretches for almost 5,000 kilometres. Much of it is composed of basalt cliffs, sea stacks, and arches carved by millennia of Atlantic waves. The scale of the cliffs around the Snæfellsnes peninsula, the Eastfjords, and the Westfjords is immense — in places, the cliffs rise almost vertically from the ocean for hundreds of metres.
This is the Iceland that early settlers encountered arriving by sea: a wall of dark rock rising from grey water, intimidating and magnificent in equal measure. This postcard captures that edge of the world quality. Sent from Iceland with a genuine Icelandic stamp.
Every Postcard.is design is a real image from Iceland — a place whose landscapes
range from glaciers and waterfalls to volcanic deserts and midnight-sun coastlines.
We print each card on quality postcard stock, add your personal message, and post it
